CADD Centre launches training in OrCAD & Pspice in Chennai region

CADD Centre launched training and the courseware on OrCAD & Pspice software on 24th July 2009. The launch ceremony was held during the EDA Interaction Program which was held at Hotel Savera, Mylapore, Chennai.

The event had Industry experts from EDA industry presenting real-world applications and facts about the electronic design industry to the institutions. The objective of the program was to enlighten the academia and the young engineers about the developments sweeping the field of EDA.

The speakers for the evening session included Mr. N.Jayashankar – Director, Cadence Design Systems-Bangalore who gave the key note address. This was followed by a presentation on “Skill gap in EDA” by Mr.Sundar Rajan from HCL Systems. He shared his experiences in EDA and spoke about the expectations from the industry. Mr.V.C. Patil – Sr. Manager, Silicon-Package-Board, Cadence Design Systems-Bangalore explained the capabilities of Electronic Design tools Orcad & Pspice and its usage. This program achieved good appreciation from all the institutions.

Now, Engineers and Diploma Holders in Electronics can get world class training in Electronic CADD too.
